Brooke Road Stores
Made in England, Brooke Road stores has an open plan shop on the ground floor measuring 8"h x 19"w x 13"d.
The upper floors are the same size but with adjustable dividers to make two rooms on each floor.
This house is supplied in kit form and requires assembly and internal and external decoration. The internal partitions have pre-cut doorways but doors are not included in the kit. They are available separately code TC6007
The door to fit the attic partition are DIY055 Cottage Door
Not suitable for children under 14.

Super dolls house.I am really enjoying working on my dolls wonderful
dolls house/shop, Brooke Road Store. I have never built a shop dolls house before, but I knew right away that I wanted it to be a shop selling nursery furniture and babies and toddlers wear. I am now trying to think up a cute name for my store. I have started to decorate the shop, such fun. I have put a door on the back wall with a notice saying
Baby Changing Room, which was a fun idea that I came up with. So many ideas for things like that for the shop are going though my mind . I have just papered the ceilings of the 1st and 2nd floors. I find its so easy to paper them before putting the floors in place. It also means that I have more room to work on the ground floor shop with the ceiling not being in place yet. I tend to decorate all of the walls on each floor before the floors go in, as I find its so easy doing it that way. Once the floors are in then I can then drill the holes for my wired lights, and a dig out a shallow trench on the floor above across to the back wall, and then drill a hole to put the wires through. I find that a bit of masking tape keeps the wires in place once in the dug out trench.
I then lay the flooring / carpet and skirting boards etc. I would be lost without my little hobby drill, its served me well over the years. Mind you its even less work if battery lights are used, as no wiring to worry about. I like using a mix of both sorts. There are so many nice ones to pick from in the selection of lights that this Great COMPANY sell, so its not an easy job to choose , at times. I hope you are having as much fun with your new dolls house , as this 75 year old is having with this one. Kids don't know what they are missing. LOL

My 2nd bedroom is once more a hobby room.
Oh to have an extra bedroom and use it just for my hobbies To be able to close the door at the end of each day and leave the mess until the next time would be perfect.
I think I need to win the Lottery for that to happen !!! LOL

Brooke Road dolls houseThis dolls house kit is great, and it will make a wonderful shop , with a flat upstairs.
It will be my New Year building job, and I shall look forward to making a start on it. It will fill the time spent indoors in the cold weather of the start of the new year. Got great plans for it. I might even extend the shop floor and the flat, at a later date
