Mahogany Working Mantle Clock

Looks lovely on the kitchen mantel. It is slightly bigger than i thought it would be.

Such a nice little clock. I have a collection of miniature, working clocks and was delighted to add this one to it.
Slightly bigger than I expected, even after seeing the size, I misjudged, but still, very nice and will look lovely on a mantel. Some of the old clocks were huge as I remember from clocks in my grandfather's house.
This one is easy to adjust and renew the battery.
Just lever it out with a finger nail or similar. There is a winder on the side of the clock piece, like a watch. Pull it out to adjust the time and push it back in before putting the clock piece back into the body. The battery fits on the back of the clock piece. Sorry , if this is all obvious, but just trying to be helpful.
The wooden body of the clock is nicely polished and the whole looks very realistic.
The fact that it also keeps good time is wonderful and means I can see the time when I'm working on the house.

Too big for dolls house. Battery on lasted 2 weeks on paying a further £5 for a new battery it loses time.

Perfect and yes it really does work.Perhaps a tiny bit too big for the mantle but still very pleased.
